c2c is a British train operative service, founded in 1996, currently operating three franchises in London, Southend and Tilbury, England.
c2c is formally known as c2c Rail Limited, being the only remaining train service operated by National Express in the UK.
c2c was originally known as Prism Rail, acquired by National Express in 2000 and re-branded as c2c Rail Limited in 2002.
The c2c franchise was due to end in 2011, however the Department for Transport granted an extension to National Express, prolonging the brands presence until May 2013.
