Isle of Man airport is the principal passenger airport in the Isle of Man. It is also known as Ronaldsway Airport and is based in Purt Aer Vannin in the south near Castletown. It is one of the two main entry points on the island, the other being the sea terminal. Ronaldsway started off as an airfield in 1928 and started serving passengers in 1933 with services to the United Kingdom. Aer Lingus and Railway Air Services then established additional services in 1934. The airport now offers services to the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland.
