Formerly known as Manchester Apollo, O2 Apollo Manchester is a listed building in Manchester, England and is currently a concert venue. The building can accommodate 3,500 people in total. It was built to be a cinema in 1938 and was opened by Margaret Lockwood. On the decline of the industry in the 1970s, the decision was made that the venue would now be used for concerts.
