Robinsons, also known as Robinson's brewery, operate in the Alcoholic beverage industry. The family run brewery was founded back in 1838, by William Robinson, at the Unicorn Inn in Stockport. This brewery is now known as the Unicorn Brewery. In total they own over 360 public houses - the majority of which are located in the North West of England. Their most renowned beers, are those of Old Tom Strong Ale, and also the Unicorn Best Bitter. They produce over 35,000 barrels a year and the company is owned by Frederic Robinson Ltd.
